Why Choose Passkey?

A Career Built in the Field

I am a retired federal law enforcement officer and forensic investigator with over thirty years of criminal investigation experience. I am also a former certified federal polygraph examiner and have been conducting polygraphs for the U.S. Government for the past sixteen years. That career was not spent behind a desk — it was spent processing crime scenes, conducting interviews and interrogations, working homicides, investigating crimes against children, providing expert testimony, and doing the kind of work that demands both technical precision and sound judgment under pressure. I did not merely study these disciplines from a textbook. I learned them in the field, case by case, over three decades of federal service.

When I founded Passkey Investigative Services, I brought that experience with me along with my consistent adherence to quality and thoroughness. The truth matters, and this company is dedicated to setting it free no matter what door it's locked behind.

Polygraph Career & Certifications

Alongside my investigative career, I pursued specialized training and certification in polygraph examination. I have been a certified federal polygraph examiner for sixteen years, conducting examinations across a range of contexts and examination types throughout my federal career and beyond.

In 2024, I added certification in Post-Conviction Sex Offender Testing (PCSOT) — a specialized and demanding discipline that sits at the intersection of polygraph science, sex offender treatment, and supervision. PCSOT requires not only polygraph proficiency but a thorough understanding of treatment frameworks, risk management, and the professional standards governing this field. I take that responsibility seriously, and it is reflected in how I conduct every examination.

All polygraph examinations conduct by Passkey Investigative Service adhere to the required and suggested standards and guidelines of the American Polygraph Association.

Forensic Specialties

Over the course of my federal career I developed expertise across several forensic disciplines, including:

  • Crime scene processing and documentation

  • Interview and interrogation

  • Homicide investigation

  • Suicide investigation and equivocal death analysis

  • Bloodstain pattern analysis

  • Crimes against children

These are not areas I touched briefly. They are areas I worked in extensively, and they form the core of both my expert testimony practice and my law enforcement training programs.

Expert Witness Experience

I have testified as a qualified expert witness on four occasions in formal legal proceedings. I bring to that role the same preparation and discipline I applied throughout my investigative career — thorough command of the subject matter, clear and straightforward communication, and the ability to hold up under cross-examination.

Attorneys and legal teams seeking an expert witness in any of my areas of specialty are welcome to reach out to discuss their matter.

Professional Memberships

I am a current member of the following professional organizations:

  • American Polygraph Association (APA)

  • American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP)

  • Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA)

  • New York Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (NY ATSA)

  • American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS)

  • International Association of Identification (IAI)

  • International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA)

  • American Society of Criminology (ASC)

Why I Do This Work

I founded Passkey Investigative Services because I believe that the experience I built over thirty years of federal service has real value — to treatment providers, to supervising officers, to law enforcement agencies, to legal professionals, and to the individuals and organizations that need reliable, professional results.

I am selective about the work I take on. That is not a limitation — it is a commitment. When I agree to handle a matter, I give it everything. I do not spread myself thin, I do not cut corners, and I do not put my name on work I am not proud of. That is the standard I held myself to throughout my federal career, and it is the standard Passkey Investigative Services is built on.
